Dr Robertson was recently interviewed by students from Sheffield University doing a documentary on animal welfare legislation. The interview covered issues of animal rights, the use of animals in agriculture and laboratories, and the potential problems in interpreting and applying concepts of the Five Freedoms in English animal welfare legislation. Other interviews are being held with other key figures in England including, for example, Chris Laurensen of Dogs Trust.
